Mark helps businesses, government agencies, educational institutions, professional associations, event hosts, and other organizational clients design practical conflict management systems that build trust, reduce escalation, and convert recurring concerns into useful leadership insight.

He brings a distinctive combination of international leadership experience, legal and ethics judgment, advanced conflict resolution education, and organizational ombuds practice. During a 24-year Air Force career, Mark advised senior leaders in complex, high-pressure environments across the United States and overseas, working at the intersection of law, operations, ethics, negotiation, and institutional risk. He later built on that foundation through an LL.M. in International Dispute Resolution and more than eight years of higher-education ombuds work.

As an organizational ombuds practitioner, Mark has built, stabilized, and evaluated ombuds programs; advised leaders and employees in complex institutional settings; facilitated difficult conversations; and developed charters, intake systems, confidentiality protocols, and trend-reporting structures that demystify compliance channels, preserve informality, and coach workplace visitors on constructive alternative pathways forward, helping organizations learn from conflict.

His work is grounded in the professional standards of independence, impartiality, confidentiality, and informality. Through Institutional Conflict Intelligence, Mark helps clients move beyond reactive crisis management toward earlier intervention, fairer pathways, better organizational listening, and stronger institutional resilience.
